Praed Street

Landolt + Brown have secured planning and listed building consent for refurbishment of Places for London’s Grade II listed over-station building on Praed Street in Paddington.

Originally constructed as the entrance to the Metropolitan Line, the building still incorporates an entrance to the tube system today. Work on site is underway to restore the building’s facades and roof and to refurbish the interiors to create several street-front retail units. The concealed roof structure of a much larger space spanning over the Underground platforms is also being revealed to create a new destination restaurant space.

The project is currently on site and due for completion in early 2027
