Jan Landolt

Co-Founding Director

Jan has over 30 years of professional experience. In 2005 he co-founded Landolt + Brown with Adam Brown and has gone on to direct many of the practice’s most complex commissions including Bank Bloomberg Underground Station, Camden Town Underground Station upgrade and oversite development, Walthamstow Underground station, Guildford Station upgrade and three stations on the eastern section of the Elizabeth Line. He is currently developing a series of rail-related masterplans for LCR, a commercial redevelopment on Paddington Praed Street for TfL Property and two new stations on the Waterside Line in Hampshire.

Jan has outstanding technical design capabilities, particularly in relation to large scale, complex projects. He is an excellent problem solver and has wide experience in all stages of design from feasibility and masterplan studies to on-site delivery.

Prior to founding Landolt + Brown Jan was a senior team member at Foster + Partners, becoming a partner in 2002 where he worked projects including CLK airport, KCRC Interchange, Canary Wharf Citibank and the Hurst Tower in New York.

Jan obtained his degree and diploma in architecture at Kent Institute of Art and Design.
