A regeneration-led station project for TfL with funding from the GLA and Haringey Council as the gateway to one of London’s most significant regeneration areas in North Tottenham. The highly place-specific design draws on White Hart Lane’s lost industries of horticultural pot making, brick production and commercial growing. It using clay-based materials for the primary floor surfaces within and outside the station and a screen elevation composed of horticultural pots set horizontally, with lapped glass ‘greenhouse’ fenestration. The timber slatted roof takes its creative clue from the simple timber drying sheds that were used to store pots before firing and which once dominated the area around White Hart Lane.

The station opened in 2019. Landolt + Brown were responsible for the concept design and took the project to detailed planning consent stage, after which it transferred to a design and build contractor.
