Hackney Central

Landolt + Brown has been commissioned by Hackney Council, working in collaboration with TfL to develop proposals to expand this busy interchange station as part of a wider multi-site growth strategy led by Adam Khan architects. The station proposals create an enlarged and fully accessible, elevated concourse at platform level with retail and customer facilities below, and modification of the existing overbridge to reduce platform congestion and better respond to interchange with Hackney Downs station.
