Tolworth Masterplan

Working with The Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames, Landolt + Brown has developed a local masterplan for the area adjacent to Tolworth Station. The project will create a new and more visible station entrance and remove private vehicles from the station forecourt, relocating these to an adjacent side street to create a vehicle-free interchange with heavily used local bus services. Land to the north and south of the railway provides opportunities for a range of regenerative uses including a green skills hub and residential-led development with new retail at street level.

The project, carried out in collaboration with Network Rail and South Western Railways will also make pedestrian connections to the main town centre more generous and direct, linking to the Greenway walking route created in the 2010’s to improve crossings over the Tolworth Gyratory.
